Transition to school
Fernlea School works closely with all preschools and kindergartens in the wider community to ensure the smooth transition of new entrant students into Fernlea.
Senior students are buddied with a pre-schooler during the last few weeks before starting school and they share time together in the preschool environment. During the planned visits to school, the buddy supports the pre-schooler on arrival at school.
If you would like to be part of the Fernlea School community please contact Tracy, in the office for an enrolment form. In addition to the completed enrolment form, a birth certificate, or passport or document of residency, an immunisation certificate/record and proof of address is required.
If you would like to see Fernlea School in action you are welcome to make an appointment to meet Tony Field, the principal. Please contact the office to make an appointment.
