Release Teacher - Part Time Permanent

One of our amazing part time teachers has retired after many many years at Fernlea. We are now after a NZ registered teacher to teach and learn alongside our ākonga and their whānau.  The successful applicant will cover release in classrooms - for 2 days per week (0.4).  There is a strong chance that this will increase to a full time position and we are open to having discussions. 

Applicants must be caring, enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of ākonga and their whānau. Applicants will be able to build strong connections with our community as our tamariki continue on their learning journey.

We teach and learn together as a team, working in collaboration with each other, and having a collective responsibility.  Having fun is also a must.
